- The Financial Department at Wolseley UK
is responsible for:
•The production of monthly management accounts for all
branches and other cost centres.
•Providing financial support for management decision making.
•Financial support for Divisional Directors and Management
in the running of their businesses.
•Reporting on our balance
sheet e.g. how efficiently we use stock and other assets.
• Tax and audit compliance.
•Involvement with acquisitions assessing acquisition
targets , buying the target business , being part of the post
acquisition implementation team. Assessing ongoing profitability.
•Insurance.
•Handling of legal issues (e.g. legal disputes , compliance
with legislation , trade marks).
•Cash , bank and Treasury controls.
