- Product Management staff are responsible for
ensuring that Wolseley UK trading divisions have a competitive
and comprehensive product offering in all market sectors. Individuals
and teams may be involved in sourcing and selecting products,
negotiating with suppliers, maintaining product and pricing structures,
arranging promotional activities and liaising with colleagues
regarding brand identities, packaging and point-of-sale.
Product Management is organised by division at Ripon, Kettering,
Leyland and Marston Gate, together with brand specific departments
at other locations.
As well as Product Managers and Assistants, this discipline includes
Inventory Controllers who are responsible for monitoring stock
levels, deliveries and supplier performance.
