A new range of products and renewable technologies have been unveiled at Wolseley's Sustainable Building Center (SBC).

The national showcase of sustainable products at Wolseley's head office site in Leamington Spa, officially launched in June 2008, now features a Dimplex air source heat pump under the canopy area of the building. Other new additions are Marley's innovative ‘EcoLogic’ roof tiles and Grant solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, which have been installed on the SBC's dummy roof so they can be easily viewed from the balcony area.

SBC product manager Chris Booker said: “As product technology and design evolves, the SBC has the designed-in ability to be updated to reflect these changes. This enables our wide range of visitors from across the construction industry to have access to the latest products which are available now, across all of Wolseley UK's brands nationwide.

“This ability to evolve is fundamental to the success of the SBC, as new products and technologies with impressive sustainable credentials are constantly being developed and introduced to the market.”
