Nevill Long Joins Wolseley

Wolseley UK has acquired ceiling systems specialist distributor Nevill Long from James Latham plc.

Nevill Long has nine branches across England, and 80 employees. The company will retain the Nevill Long brand name, but will operate as part of Wolseley’s insulation specialist, Encon.

Encon managing director Douglas McKerracher said:

"Nevill Long is a well-regarded, profitable business with a strong management. As a specialist distributor of ceiling systems, Nevill Long is an excellent fit with Encon, and will enable us to target growth in this sector of the market. Ceiling systems, like other insulation sectors, are strong growth areas, and we look forward to building the Nevill Long business."
