Wolseley UK has launched a website dedicated to its Sustainable Building Center (SBC) project. The recently announced Wolseley SBC will be a living, interactive showcase for renewable and sustainable materials for the building industry.

The new, dedicated website, www.wolseleysbc.co.uk, features news of the rapidly-developing SBC project, as well as environmental issues relating to the construction industry, and a listing of relevant forthcoming events, such as environmental conferences.

It also features sections on the key product areas of:

• Solar thermal
• Paints
• Urban drainage
• Heat pumps
• Biomass
• Photovoltaics

Visitors to the SBC website may also register for an email newsletter, providing regular news updates on the SBC project.

Website manager Siobhan Smith said: “The SBC project has generated a high level of interest, much of it from people and organisations who previously had no dealings with Wolseley. The new website will provide news of the development of the SBC project, but just as importantly, information about sustainability issues as they affect the UK construction industry.”
