Coronavirus (COVID-19) update – Wolseley UK branches remain open following introduction of new Lockdown restrictions

All of our branches across the UK will continue to be open for service with the introduction of new Covid-19 regulations by the UK governments.

Our established Covid-safe protocols in our branches aim to ensure the safety of both colleagues and customers, and allow us to continue to support you as you provide essential services to your customers across the UK. Please see information below of how you can help us to keep our branches Covid-safe.

To ensure we’re Covid-safe, we may have some short-term local disruption to our service at branch level, with some temporary closures, but any changes like this will always be shared as quickly as we can with you, both locally and on our website, and we’ll always seek to provide you with support from elsewhere in our wide network of branches. We have real-time updates on our branch openings at so please do check in there before you travel

If you need help or assistance with your order, please don’t hesitate to contact one of our team in your local branch, who will be pleased to help.

How we are ensuring we can stay safe together through the pandemic

We are always continuing to update our procedures and guidance to ensure we’re following the latest government advice. Additionally:

  • We recognise the production challenges that some of our suppliers may experience due to Covid 19, and particularly the impact that social distancing can have on production volumes. We are working closely with suppliers to maximise output and schedule deliveries into our sites, to ensure normal levels of availability wherever possible

  • With our wide network of supplier contacts and specialist knowledge, where there may be product supply issues, we’ll use our expertise to identify and find great alternatives that will work for you and which will allow you to keep working

  • In our Distribution Centres we have created ‘colleague bubbles’ coaching colleagues to remain within their colour-coded work zone and break rooms at all times, minimising the risk of a full shift or DC shutdown

  • Our branches are operating to their normal hours with social distancing maintained; hand sanitisers, protective screens, safety PPE, cleaning schedules and customer guidance/directional signage in place. Colleagues are also following the latest guidance on face masks and as per government guidance

  • We also request you wear a face covering in branch to protect both you and our Wolseley colleagues

  • Risk assessments have been set up and drivers and supplier deliveries both have guidelines in place which they are following

  • Our Support Centres also have safety measures in place to protect colleagues and visitors
