Lever-operated and fully unionised, the Durapipe VKD DualBlock ABS/EPDM 63mm square end butterfly valve is designed for use in industrial chilled and cold water applications. Fitted with solvent weld connections, this valve is suitable for installation in the low temperature fluid systems found in care homes, student accommodation and other multistorey buildings. A butterfly valve is a quarter-turn type valve designed to regulate or isolate the flow of a fluid. While in use the valve is fully open or closed when its integral disc is rotated a quarter turn. These valves are lighter in weight than other valves, generally requiring less support.
