Made of copper, the impermeable Yorkshire YP2 integral solder ring (ISR) 35mm x 1 1/4" female iron straight connector is corrosion-resistant and protects against water supply contaminants for reliably long lasting use in plumbing systems which are expected to last as long as the buildings they're installed in. Suitable for jointing copper tubes to BS EN 1057 (R220, R250 and R290), this ISR fitting can be used in a wide range of applications.  A solder joint is created through the principle of capillary action. When fitting and tube are heated to the correct temperature, the solder becomes molten, allowing it to be drawn into the gap between tube and fitting for a tough, reliable joint..
